Premiile BAFTA 2024 au fost decernate duminică, 18 februarie, la Royal Festival Hall din Londra, în cadrul celei de-a 77-a ediţii a prestigioasei gale a Academiei Britanice de Arte de Film și Televiziune. Lungmetrajul „Oppenheimer” a strălucit, câștigând marele premiu și obținând în total 7 trofee, inclusiv pentru cel mai bun film și cel mai bun actor în rol principal.
Prințul William a participat la premiile BAFTA 2024
Într-un decor fastuos, Prințul William a participat singur la ceremonie, în calitate de președinte al Academiei Britanice de Arte de Film și Televiziune, rol pe care îl ocupă din 2010. Soția sa, Catherine, Prințesa de Wales, este momentan retrasă din activitățile publice pentru a se recupera după o intervenție chirurgicală abdominală. Este de așteptat ca aceasta să revină la îndatoririle sale publice în aprilie.
Potrivit libertatea.ro, ceremonia a fost condusă cu eleganță de actorul scoțian David Tennant, iar momentele de glorie au venit pentru diverși protagoniști ai industriei cinematografice.
Printre cei distinși s-a numărat și Cillian Murphy, recunoscut pentru interpretarea sa captivantă din „Oppenheimer”, ce i-a adus trofeul pentru cel mai bun actor în rol principal.
Regia de excepție a lui Christopher Nolan a fost recompensată cu un premiu BAFTA, confirmând încă o dată talentul său remarcabil în domeniu. De asemenea, alte categorii au fost marcate de distincții prestigioase, cum ar fi cel mai bun film străin, câștigat de lungmetrajul „The Zone of Interest”.
Premiile BAFTA 2024 au fost un tribut adus excelenței și creativității din industria cinematografică, celebrând filmele remarcabile și talentele excepționale care le-au dat viață.
